Aircon Refrigerant Gas Top-Up Terms & Conditions

1. Scope of Service

1.1 The refrigerant gas top-up service is intended to replenish the refrigerant levels of the air conditioning unit to ensure optimal performance.  

1.2 This service is only applicable to systems that are low on refrigerant gas.

1.3 The technician will conduct a check on the existing refrigerant gas level in the aircon system and advise the customer accordingly. 

2. Service Charges & Payment

2.1 The charge for refrigerant gas top-up is based on the type of refrigerant gas used and amount of refrigerant required by the unit.  

2.2 The price quoted includes the refrigerant, labor, and any necessary service equipment used.  

2.3 Full payment is due upon booking of the service.  

2.4 Additional charges may apply if a leak detection test is required or if the unit requires further servicing.  

3. Warranty & Liability

3.1 The top-up service guarantees the aircon will have the correct refrigerant levels for optimal cooling performance post-service.  

3.2 The company does not guarantee that the top-up will prevent future refrigerant loss or malfunction.  

3.3 The company is not liable for any damage to the aircon system resulting from pre-existing issues, such as leaks, faulty components, or improper use.  

3.4 If a leak is detected during the service, the technician will recommend further repairs, which are not included in the refrigerant top-up fee.  

4. Customer Responsibilities

4.1 The customer must ensure that the aircon unit is accessible and free from obstructions.  

4.2 If the technician cannot access the unit or if safety concerns arise, the company reserves the right to charge a visit fee.  

4.3 The customer is responsible for informing the technician of any known issues with the unit, such as leaks or previous refrigerant problems.  

5. Cancellation & Rescheduling

5.1 Cancellations or rescheduling of appointments must be made at least [24] hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.  

5.2 The company reserves the right to reschedule appointments in case of unforeseen circumstances, such as weather or manpower shortages. 

 

6. Limitations of Service

6.1 The refrigerant top-up service does not include any repairs to faulty components or leak fixes.  

6.2 If a refrigerant leak is suspected, a leak detection service is required at an additional cost.  

6.3 The company reserves the right to refuse service if the unit is deemed unsafe or if prior modifications or damages affect the refrigerant system.  

7. Agreement & Acknowledgment

7.1 By engaging our refrigerant gas top-up service, the customer agrees to these Terms & Conditions.  

7.2 Any disputes arising will be handled in accordance with company policies and local regulations.
